### Did you know that our Casa Playa Spa was the home of our founders in the 30's?

 
*The mansion was built in the 1930s. Maria Luisa Chabert was the wife of Manuel Barbachano, founder of Rosarito Beach Hotel, she fell in love with Rosarito and asked her husband to live in the town. Don Manuel built him a majestic palace facing the sea. The good taste of Maria Luisa and her love for the hotel gives it the majesty that it has until now. Maria Luisa Chabert is directly responsible for the development of the Rosarito Beach Hotel, she preferred to live in Rosarito instead of choosing to reside in Tijuana or San Diego.*

 
*To this day, some fine furniture and materials from the original mansion are still preserved, they were imported from various parts of the world during the '30s and '40s.*
*Without a doubt, Casa Playa Spa is a place with a lot of history and beautiful corners that you should explore the next time you visit us. You will fall in love with this mansion equipped as a spa, its tiles and staircase will make you travel back in time to the '30s.*
