So far, I think we have succeeded and the fact that 4,000,000 (four million) guests have lodged in this hotel since 1926 proves it.
But we don’t lay back in contentment, we are always remodeling, adding, retraining; it’s a vast hotel. For instance: we hired a Biochemist to constantly check the quality of the food and drinking water we serve because we want to assure the health of our guests. A new Reverse Osmosis water purification machine has been bought on the recommendation of our Biochemist. Our employees undergo periodical medical examinations to ensure their health, especially those that handle food and beverages. AS WE CARE ABOUT ROSARITO’S ENVIRONMENT, WE NOW HAVE A DESALINATION TREATMENT PLANT TO PROVIDE PURIFIED WATER TO CERTAIN AREAS IN THE HOTEL. ALSO OUR POOLS ARE HEATED WITH SOLAR ENERGY.
Since we are also concerned about the ocean environment, we don’t dump raw sewage into the ocean. We have built an Artificial Ecosystem sewage treatment plant and its output is checked and approved not only by our Biochemist but also by the State of Baja California’s equivalent of the Environmental Protection Agency . We also strive to be regional leaders in hospitality technology, providing for example wireless Internet service that is now available in some areas of the hotel.
These are details that you won’t usually notice when you visit us, but it’s reassuring to know that we are taking care of them.
